Marriage

Preparation for marriage according to diocesan policy is six months. Anyone planning marriage at St. Thomas can contact one of the priests to begin the process of preparation. Included in the preparation is, besides the diocesan requirements of an Engaged Encounter or Pre-Cana, a class on Christian Sexuality or Natural Family Planning, and an inventory (FOCCUS), an invitation to engaged couples to meet four times with a married couple in the parish to share aspects of marriage and to become acquainted with another family in the parish.
