St. Thomas Garage Sale
April 19 - April 21
The Spring Sale will be April 19-21, with set-up starting April 14. Volunteers are what make the Sale possible and new volunteers are needed to keep the Sale going. A few hours each from a number of people would be a great help!
SALE HOURS: Thursday 9AM – 5PM Friday 9AM – 7 PM Saturday 8AM – 1PM
WORK SCHEDULE: Equipment set up – Sat., Apr. 14, Noon to 5PM. See the Apr. 15th bulletin for a complete work schedule.
DONATIONS ACCEPTED: Please bring your donations in as early in the week as you can.Sunday donation hours — noon to 5PM. Monday & Tuesday donation hours – 8AM to 8PM. Tax receipts are available.
The DEADLINE FOR GENERAL DONATIONS is 8PM on Tuesday. We need time to process donations before the Sale opens.
The DEADLINE FOR COMPUTERS & ELECTRONICS (flat screen TVs, audio equipment, etc.) is Tuesday at NOON.
HAULING AVAILABLE: Call Tim Ryon [689-1796] to schedule the hauling of large items, on the evenings of Apr. 16-18. Asthere are a limited number of time slots, call and schedule early.
TRUCKS & LABOR NEEDED TO HAUL: Call Ed Schanzle [693-0019] if you can help haul furniture & large items. It is notnecessary to have a truck or trailer, but let him know if you can bring one. New hauling crew members are needed!
FEEDING WORK CREWS: Call Tina Shook [692-2489] if you can provide a side dish for crew lunches Monday thru Saturday.
BAKE SALE: It helps if you can pre-pack baked goods in disposable containers covered with clear plastic wrap. Small items are usually sold in 3’s or 6’s. Please label & also include any allergy information (“contains peanuts”, “gluten free”, etc.). Baked goods which can be frozen, may be dropped off Apr. 16-18. We need all baked goods delivered no later than noon on Friday, Apr. 20.
MERCHANDISE NEEDED: Warm weather clothes (save winter clothes for Fall), furniture, appliances, household items, toys, sports items, tools, books, CDs, DVDs, collectibles, antiques…. Merchandise should be clean & in good condition. If something may not work, please don’t donate it. If a specific function doesn’t work, attach a note. Tie remotes, accessories, manuals to their device.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT: Televisions (except working FLAT SCREEN TVs, as we must pay to dispose of other TVs), chemicals (cleaners, paints, solvents, acids, caustics, bug or weed killers, automotive fluids, etc.), pianos, organs, encyclopedias, magazines.
