Health and Wellness
The Health and Wellness Committee is organized to be a resource for the parish by providing educational information about health and wellness for the parishioners and by offering health-related evaluation opportunities to parishioners. The committee meets every other month to plan activities.
St. Thomas Parish has a service to any family in the parish to provide a meal after a family member’s funeral. The Martha Group both calls the members of the organization to solicit a dish for a funeral meal and serves the meal.
St. Vincent de Paul
The members of the St. Vincent de Paul organization meet monthly to discern the needs of the poor in the parish by being a financial resource for requests that come to the parish. The St. Vincent de Paul organization helps supply the St. Thomas Food Pantry, makes home visits to the needy, takes baskets of food to the needy at Christmas, and provides financial contributions for other various needs. There is a collection the first Sunday of each month at the weekend Masses to help support their endeavors.
The St. Thomas Food Pantry is located at the northwest corner of the school complex, off the back parking lot. The Food Pantry serves the members of the parish and the needy of the area with emergency food. Parish members staff the Pantry which is open Monday and Thursday morning from 9:00 am-11:00 am.
